The Section Dance of the Nice University Sophia Antipolis is the only department in France offering a complete university education in dance studies: Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programme.The Dance department of the Nice University is since 2002 one important pole of stimulation for the renovation of research on dance in France. It was the first one to offer a doctorate in dance, and by doing so, substantially contributing to feed the dance research field in France with new doctoral students.
