In recent years there has been a change of paradigm in education in the performing arts which is characterised by a turn to the profile artist-researcher and which is specially noticiable in postgraduate programmes. This model confers special relevance to self-teaching technologies and to the integration of theory and praxis with emphasis in a reflective practice, so that the student is situated between the spheres of criticism and creation.
